Weekend Projects

On Saturday, Sydney and I went on a shopping and lunch date. We went to McDonalds of course. She ordered a hamburger happy meal with chocolate milk all by herself. :) While we ate our lunch we talked about her imaginary friend Swiper, Sophia, and daddy. After lunch we headed to Hobby Lobby (arts and crafts store) to purchase some things to do around the house. After Hobby Lobby, we went to Walmart to buy her Valentine Day cards. Of course she wanted Dora Valentine cards but they didn't have them. So we had to drive across the street to Meijer to find the Dora Valentines. Once we found them she was happy and so was I. It was time to head back home! Later that evening, we made Valentine hearts out of construction paper. Then Sydney decorated them with stickers and stamps that we purchased earlier. Once we were done, she had to hang them on her window in her bedroom. After clean up, Sydney ran up to me and said "Mommy, Mommy, thank you so very much for the arts and crafts. I love you!" Enough said!
